Product Overview

The ZRS-2 Hot Wire Tester is designed for evaluating the ignition risk of materials in electrical and electronic equipment. It heats a Φ4mm nickel-chromium wire to specified temperatures (550℃~960℃) and applies controlled pressure to test samples.

Application Scope

This tester determines flammability characteristics of solid insulating materials and other combustible materials, including:

Insulating materials in electrical equipment
Engineering plastics
Various solid combustible materials

It measures glow-wire ignition temperature (GWIT), flammability, and glow-wire flammability index (GWFI).
