Instrument Overview

Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) is a classic thermal analysis technique for measuring thermal effects under programmed temperature control. It is widely applied in multiple material and chemical fields, including R&D, process optimization, quality control, and failure analysis.

Using DSC, one can study phase transitions in inorganic materials, melting and crystallization processes of polymer materials, drug polymorphism, and solid/liquid phase ratios in oils and fats.
