Summary:

This test methodology is designed for long‑term service life validation. A complete assembled set of plastic pipeline system specimens shall undergo 5,000 alternating hot‑cold water circulation cycles. Each full cycle runs for 30 minutes, consisting of a 15‑minute cold‑water circulation phase succeeded by a 15‑minute hot‑water circulation phase. Such demanding testing scenarios impose high requirements on test hardware in terms of uninterrupted running capacity as well as stable and repeatable test results.

 

Developed on a custom basis by our facility for a well‑established European brand, this test unit is built to meet European technical specification requirements. Its proven dependable performance with no technical failures or quality defects has been validated through multi‑year practical field deployment throughout European regions.

 

The complete system comprises four core functional sub‑units: cold‑water exchange actuation module, hot‑water exchange actuation module, specimen test enclosure and industrial cooling chiller. It features refined exterior design, modular mechanical setup, advanced control logic, stable operational behaviour, robust build quality and a user‑friendly human‑machine interface.

 

Instrument Features:

Intelligent Cycle Switching Mechanism

Real‑time monitoring signals, including inlet‑outlet water temperature of sample pipelines, liquid level conditions of cold‑hot water reservoirs and timing parameters for mode shift, are captured by the control platform to trigger automatic system status adjustment. At each cycle handover, dual‑tank return valves receive precise actuation to redirect the bulk of cold medium back into the cold‑water reservoir. The temperature gap between two reservoirs is rigidly capped at 3 °C, cutting total energy expenditure and enabling energy‑efficient operation during extended non‑stop test runs.

 

Optimized Low‑Noise Characteristics

An in‑house engineered water flow control assembly is integrated into the test piping circuit. This tailor‑made structural solution mitigates operational noise originating from high‑velocity fluid scouring and internal pipe friction, granting quiet and steady test surroundings.

 

High‑Performance Refrigeration Setup

Premium imported industrial chillers serve as the system’s primary low‑temperature cooling source. Proven water‑to‑water cooling technology is implemented to fine‑tune compressor working conditions and hold it within its optimum operating window. This configuration boosts the equipment’s overall cooling efficiency, curbs operational wear‑and‑tear of components, and substantially prolongs the service lifespan of industrial chiller assemblies.
