Pressure & Temperature Cycle Tester for Plastic Pipes & Fittings, Pipe Testing Equipment for Pipeline Performance Evaluation
Summary:
1. Tailored to comply with formal standard requirements, this complete test system is engineered to assess the comprehensive performance of assembled pipeline assemblies composed of diverse plastic pipes and fittings. In the course of testing, pipeline samples are loaded with preset internal pressure, meanwhile being exposed to cyclic alternating cold‑hot thermal shocks within a predefined test timeframe. After finishing the stipulated number of cyclic runs, operators will inspect the test articles for failure manifestations including fluid leakage and structural rupture.
2. Belonging to long‑term durability validation tests, the test protocol mandates 5,000 hot‑cold water circulation cycles for one group of plastic pipeline assembly samples. Each cycle takes 30 minutes in total, comprising 15‑minute cold‑water circulation phase plus 15‑minute hot‑water circulation phase. Such rigorous test conditions impose high requirements on the equipment’s sustained running capability and steady output performance. This test unit was originally tailor‑built by our factory for a well‑known European brand, fully aligned with European technical norms. It has maintained zero‑failure records after years of field deployment and practical application within European markets.
3. The whole unit comprises four key functional assemblies: cold‑water exchange execution assembly, hot‑water exchange execution assembly, specimen test compartment and industrial cooling chiller. Featuring refined exterior styling, modular‑based mechanical layout, state‑of‑the‑art control algorithms, steady running behaviour, dependable build quality and straightforward human‑machine interaction for end‑users.
Instrument Features:
1. Patented Open‑frame Structural Layout: High‑temperature and high‑pressure water circulates exclusively inside test specimens and their dedicated connecting piping. The equipment implements an atmospheric‑pressure vessel concept, whereby all remaining circulating pipelines work under ambient atmospheric pressure. Core hardware such as valve assemblies and sensors run under normal‑pressure working conditions, securing long‑term dependable performance of the complete unit. This innovative structural solution is covered by an authorized technical patent.
2. Complete Closed‑loop Control Framework: Equipped with an imported full‑digital control platform, this unit realizes closed‑loop high‑precision modulation over the internal pressure of the full test piping network. While running, the control unit dynamically modulates main circulation pumps and regulating valves according to real‑time feedback parameters such as fluid temperature, elapsed runtime and pipeline flow velocity, so as to sustain uniform internal pressure throughout the whole system. This architecture effectively rules out water hammer hazards even amid fast hot‑cold water flow alternation, delivering overall performance superior to national standard specifications.
3. Smart Cycle Transition Logic: The control unit dynamically modifies operating states according to real‑time monitoring signals covering inlet & outlet water temperature of specimen pipelines, liquid levels of cold‑hot water reservoirs, as well as hot‑cold mode transition timing. It autonomously actuates return valves for both water tanks to guide the bulk of cold water back into the cold‑water reservoir upon cycle handover. Temperature deviation between the two tanks is rigorously confined within 3 °C, bringing about ultra‑low energy expenditure for prolonged continuous‑run missions.
4. Low‑Noise Performance Enhancement: A self‑developed exclusive water flow regulator is integrated onto test pipelines, which greatly suppresses operational noise triggered by high‑velocity water flow scouring effects.
5. High‑efficiency Refrigeration Configuration: Imported industrial chillers serve as the low‑temperature cooling source. Water‑to‑water cooling technology is deployed to lift refrigeration efficiency and keep compressors working within optimal operating windows. This configuration elevates overall cooling capacity and substantially prolongs the service lifespan of industrial chiller assemblies.
